Festive Sound: L.A. Lights Indiefest

After a long time no see, finally i met Oma again, she's back for summer break from her study in China. So, last Saturday we meet up -with Aplie of course- to watch the Festive Sound at Senayan, there are two stage on that music festival, the Calmosphere stage and the Screamosphere stage but we chose to stay enjoying the music performances at the Calmosphere one, cause i actually wait to see the Boyce Avenue. We passed the Calvin Jeremy, The Trees and The Wild -the awesome one, especially when they bring the Berlin song, ah.. love it!- we missed a half performs by The Banery to have the photo session :p and continuing to watch the Barry Likumahuwa Project and The Groove also, get our body move and groove in there too, enjoying their music so much and the last show from the Boyce Avenue.

This is the second time i watch the L.A. Lights Indiefest, the first time i came to this event was about 2 years ago, i only remember that i had watch the Monkey to Millionaire and Zeke and The Popo. Hmm but.. i don't know, it's even i like some of those performs, i don't really get the great atmosphere that i usually feel when i watch the other music festival such as JavaJazz or JakJazz, i just feel lost the excitement when i came here like i had the same one condition when i watched the Soundrenaline on last 2009, it's not about the genre of these music i thought but something missing on that event, or maybe i lost my soul for a while, no?

I've been watching The Romantics movie, played by Katie Holmes and Josh Duhamel. The line is about nothing complicates friendships like love. I don't really enjoy the movie so much but totally love their soundtrack, so beautiful. Here they are some of the songs I've been play round and round lately;

A friend to me is not the same thing like a technology. You cannot buy a friend like a cool stuff because they are priceless. But the words above, the lyrics, in my opinion has accidentally reminds me to something that i shouldn't do in my friendships. I can't Lock my friends, i cannot bordering them cause they have a freedom to say and act what they want. I can't Erase them too, because no matter what they did to me, they're still a friend of mine (unless they've betrayed me, I swear to God.. I'm not kind to them and i can be evil than an evil itself). And the last, this is the word that could applies to anyone -either a friend or a boyfriend- that you cannot Upgrade your friend to be someone you like. Have you heard a quotes that saying, "You come to love by not finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly." and i strongly agree with that.

And this is a random question:
Do you know the power of your friendships?
the answer is:
Having a close friend means you feel less stressed and find it easier to stick to healthy habits. and, most important you always have someone to answer the "am I crazy?" question.

Love Must Go On

I thought love is kind a sweet thing but love can be evil sometimes. Love can hurt you so bad when you're losing someone you like. And when your love is gone, it feels like no one can ever compare him cause all you ever wanted is just him. You think that your love is worth to wait. But how long? How can you move on? Just believe that everyone has their own soul mate, until that time coming, they will found someone. Someone you could believe, he is the one.

Too Much Tired

I'm enjoying Java Jazz Festival 2010 (JJF) Day 2 with Oma today, and get tired after that show. I watched the music performances of Maliq n D'essentials, Andezzz, Monita Tahalea, Glenn Fredly (plus his collaboration with Endah N Rhesa and Shandy Sundoro to sing Let's Say Love to spreading positive viruses in the life from the album of Lovevolution by Glenn, and that was awesome!), i saw Coklat too.. they're support the local product of Indonesia called "100% cinta produk Indonesia", i guess it's a great mind to support our lovely nation.

The venue of JJF 2010 is new, it's on Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) at Kemayoran. The venue is larger than the previous event of JJF 2009 in Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), so we have to got an extra energy to reach stage by stage of the artist line-up show. And it's so tiring, if you came in a bad mood, there's no surprise that you will lose your energy to enjoying those music performances. I realized that it's not easy to organizing the music festival at a new venue but how can you decided thing without a bad expectation like this for the large event? i don't care about the larger stage or how many stages they have and the larger food station.. it's a music festival, they served over 20 artists each day, and with this larger venue make us get tired quickly. And the other complaint is the less coordination of the committees, i stuck in the line queue at Hall A2, gate of Glenn Fredly show for a 20 minutes! The gate was close on 10.00 pm because the stage is full of guests. It was the same time when Glenn start his show. How can the gate is closed when the shows starting? We're really disappointed with this, almost the whole guests has mad and shouted the committee in the front gate but they have no action to reduce our anger. And after the gate opened there is a bad, bad, bad, bad situation that I've ever seen in the music festival like this, i trapped in the line queue without a space to walking near by the stage. Over crowded! and the last annoyed thing is.. i have to spent 1,5 hours to out of this place, just in the parking lot! errrrrgh..

Well, it just my own thought and I hope in the next event whether the place and the coordination of the show will run better. I prefer to choose JCC for JJF 2011. Bring us back for the comfort venue.

Ain't Got No Resolution. Why I HaveTo?

I passed the new year eve with all of my happiness, now it feels like I want to burnt my heart deep down inside, knowing the only friend I'd care about, has disappeared.. left me alone without any reason. Thinking about my new hope, my new resolution, i don't even care about it anymore.. This situation is really made me down.

Just Jack: The Day I Died

Seven days a week, i keeping on track living in a love life with my family, spending my whole time with 'em as a habitual activity to collect our memories together that will never destroyed with anyone/anything could do it. Watching this video made me falling to imagine when some of my family, my dad, has to be gone.. it's really scared i guess ;((

Oh I'm really in a good mood of everything, except the Thesis one actually.. hehe.. Recently, I have downloaded a new album of Phoenix, Owl City, Mew and Muse. I loved listen Phoenix since my friends, Ocha gave me a full albums of Phoenix (Alphabetical, It's Never Been Like That, and United), that's on my forth semester i guess and now i became crush on theirs song! and the Owl City, I've never heard this before i met the other friends of mine, Astrid, who told me last week that i have to downloaded their song, umbrella beach, but I didn't. And after I'd surfin on Diana Rikasari's blog, i realized.. the Owl City must be on my playlist! i have to listen it! hehe.. about Mew, this is the first time i heard all of their songs in the album of No More Stories, their new album. Previously, I'd just listen Comforting Sounds after looked out the old post in Diana's blog, and i really like it. and Muse.. Who's doesn't know about Muse?
